Hi everyone
Have to replace my fuel tanks on 1979 33ft.
Any one have any experience in reframing cockpit deck and anyone hav any info in simulated teak

Dave, when you cut the cockpit sole to replace your tanks make sure whoever does it fully supports and/or braces the stringers below the deck when it goes back in. I've seen it done wrong where the deck sags and looks awful. The other option (if you are pulling your engines as part of the process) is to pull your fuel tanks forward and bring them out into the salon.

like me, sounds like you have to cut the sole of the cockpit floor to replace tanks. this was done on my boat for one tank prior to be buying it. it looks easy enough and i plan on copying the cut marks on the port side just as was done on the stbd side.

when i do this in the spring, i'll post pictures.
