Planing a cruise, 5 boats next summer from NJ into LI Sound. East Riv passage to Pt.Jeff. than to Block Isl. Heard Champlins Marina likes to raft u out etc. We liked to be slipped, should we go Block Isl. Boat Basin. Than to Newport, next Martha's Vine., back to Mystic and than Stratford or Milford Harbor to return to NY Harbor. Any suggestions or problems to know.

Sounds like a great trip. Never stayed at Port Jeff, although a very nice town with plenty of places to eat. Block Island Boat Basin is THE place to stay for us, get reservations in early! I personnally would skip Martha's Vinyard and go Cuttyhunk instead, but I know people like to say they were there. Newports nice, but busy. Mystic is great, can stay down river easily or get reservations inside.

Take plenty of pics and let us know how it goes!
