does anyone know what kind of wood was used on a 1984 salon door?I think it is mohagany? if so what kind?

the boat is a 1984 41',I have to add some material to the bottom of the door in order for it to fit without daylight or weather coming in.

Mine is a 73 and the wood used us honduras (sp) mahagony, the door was redone a few years ago.
