My generator has no power to it. It will not start at the generator or the remote switch. Before I start tearing everything apart, does anyone have an idea of what the problem is.

Have you checked the fuses? I finally remembered to look at mine last night. It's a row of three across on the generator next to the start switch. They kind of push in and turn to lock them in place. One of them is marked "IGN" I would suspect it came loose. Look closely when you push it in and turn to make sure it stays closed. (Also make sure the fuse isn't fried.)

BTW- That's not my specific generator in the attachment it's just one off Yachtworld. A sister generator, if you will.

Other than the 12v at the battery side of the solenoid I don't have any power going to the start switch. Does the 12v come from the panel or from the battery? I have checked everywhere and can't find where the power to the start switch comes from, or where it gets connected.

Yeah. I had that. Turned out to be the fuse was loose. I think it's on the front panel of the generator under (or near) the start button. Good luck. Hope that's all it is.
