i have been haveing problems with looseing my zincs i installed a new set labor day and hauled the boat in dec. and the zincs were more than 1/2 gone. i can not figure out what it could be i was thinking it maybe the converter its one that came with boat 1976 ?

Craig's location is correct. if our boats are alike. access to the rear external fuse holder is through the small inspection panel inside the cabin. We also changed the rot. switch (mentioned earlier)at this same time. we had an eradic 110 gauge. The Power in the line was constantly surging. After the new switch and many connectors cleaned and/or replaced many electrical problems cleared up.

My external fuses are located right under my shore power connections.

can you tell me where the external 110 fuse is located? have to start somewhere

Sorry to hear about you Zinc problems. We also had the curse of the zinc monster.
We changed many of the connectors that i could get too, but very little improvement.
A main rotary switch (shore off Gen) also was went bad. Upon replacement of the switch and cleaning or replacement of connections.
Connections at the external 110 V fuse broke off in my hand, had replaced some wire.
The zinc problem stopped.
