Hi all Egg Harbor skippers,

Here I am sitting in the middle of a major snow storm thinking about our rendezvous. There is at least a foot of snow on the ground this morning with more coming. Great time to start planning our annual "reunion" of Egg Harbors and fellow boaters.

Here's the scoop. In light of the current economic situation we are going to try to make this as affordable as possible. Perhaps a pot luck dinner on Friday night, bonfire with sing along, Captain's Sexy Legg contest, and hopefully great weather so we can enjoy the pool, assorted games and the in town offerings (restaurants, shopping, museum etc). I am in contact with the caterers for Saturday night and they are working on a low key affordable dinner. Nothing has been firmed up except for the date. June 19th through 21st. Father's Day weekend. Bring the kids!! And Dads! Please contact me with any suggestions or any volunteering/help that you may be up for. Father's Day weekend is still pre season rates.

Please forward to any Egg owners you may know. Not all are on our mailing list and email addresses have changed. You do not need an Egg to attend. Just the boating spirit!.

The newsletter has been sent out. Give Essex Island Marina a call just to reserve your slip. It will help us plan for a fun weekend by knowing how many to expect. As soon as we have a registration form we will email it out.
