On a 360 cry 33ft egg sp fsh 7qt cast aluminum pan,spin on oil filter ph#43 (not remote)with standard dipstick through side of block no oil cooler ***where should the oil level read on the stick.(I have had my boat apart for so long that I forgot exactly the full mark is)Iwould like to hear from other egg owner's of the same set up to hear what they have thanks Jim

thank you for your info (but Ihad drained off some oil from thefront drain plug on each motor and forgot to measure what I took out.and i did notremove the motors that is why I was asking about oil level's(I remember going through this once before but did not mark the dipstick like I was supposed to

Jim, knowing your motor type and the oil pan capacity you have mentioned, in combination with the angle your motor is installed you should be able to determine the required amount to fill the pan to the correct level. Your installation manual may have that info. Put your engine back in the boat and fill it, less one quart, with the amount you know should be in the engine at full and check your oil level. Scribe a mark on your dip stick for "Low" where the oil mark is. Add the last quart of oil and scribe a mark on the dip stick for "Full". You should not need to add any fluid for the stock filter that should be part of the stock amount you put in a 360. I did this on my 3208 CATS and it worked out perfectly.
