Cummins Diesel v504, 1972 38' Egg Sportfisher
Any sources for remanufactured / rebuilt raw water pumps?
Where do you folks get your obsolete parts?

Has anyone taken on turning a V504 into a VT504 (adding turbocharger?).

By the way, if anyone needs info on this boat - very cool - I have the original owners manual, shop and service manuals for everything, engines, etc. Very happy when I found all of the old documentation!

Try Depco Pump, www.depcopump.com. They can rebuild most anything. Very good service and parts supply.

Best wishes,

I would contact Tony Athen out in your area, big Cummins dealer:
http://sbmar.com/

Would not recommend upgrade to a turbo, generally speaking most companies also had upgraded part (pistons, rods etc) that could handle the extra HP when they designed that higher HP model.
